OK guys, I'm new to sports gambling and I've paid an excruciatingly high initiation price by getting scammed for $4500 by Adam Meyers fraud of an operation. Finding lots of good cappers here on the RX that I'm now following, but I've also found SportsInvestorCentral.com. I'm not sure if they are legit or not, as I'm becoming more aware of how many ways there are to run a scam in this biz. They post every play 10-15 min after each game starts, which can be seen by anyone who sets up an account. I'm trying to figure out how they can fudge things to pad their stats. All I can come up with is that maybe they have software that detects if anyone has checked a play as it is happening. If no one has bought the play or checked it during the game, they know they can fudge it. There are 8 cappers on the site, 7 of whom claim to have won 58-61% of all their plays. Plus a google search of any of the cappers names brings back nothing but the SIC.com site. Those 2 things are a bit fishy.
I tracked one of their cappers, Riley Peterson, for a little while and everything checked out so I started buying his 4 and 5 unit plays ($27.50/pick, and I get credit for another pick of that pick loses). So far he is 14-7-1, so I can't complain.

What I'm going to do is post all the plays I purchase the night before, and then give results the next day. I'm betting $300/play so far, as less than that would make the price of the pick too heavy compared to the potential winnings.
I'll start out by posting all the plays I've purchased starting 12/6/11. You'll have to take my word on these, or just deduct them from the running total I provide.

The purpose of this thread is not to promote SIC.com, rather to document what they and "Riley Peterson" are doing. If anyone else has used them PLEASE post here and let me know what your experience is/was. So many scammers out there, I'm just trying to vet this one, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, so here goes. These are only his 4 or 5 unit plays. I'm tracking his 1-3 plays also, but not buying. If enough people want I can start posting those too, but I don't have the actual pick until the game has already started, so timing would be difficult. Typos above, I bought my first pick on 12/4 and the record to this date is 11-6-2, although one of those pushes I won because I got a better line.

12/4: CBB SMU -1 W
CBB Stanford -7.5 L
NFL Baltimore/Cleveland over 38 L
NFL Oakland/ Miami under 43 L

12/5 CBB Wis Milwaukee +2.5 W
NFL San Diego -3 W

12/7 CBB Manhatton -7.5 W
CBB Colorado -10 L
CBB Princeton +6 W
NHL Washington +1.5 W
12/9 CBB Wyoming +5.5 W

12/10 CBB Cal Poly -4.5 W
CBB IUPUI -8 Push *I won this one because I was able to get the play at -6.5*
Michigan St +3 W

12/11 CBB Southern IL +8.5 L
NFL Carolina +3 L

12/13 CBB FL Atlantic +13.5 W
NHL NJ Devils/Flordia Panthers under 5 Push

So far 11-6-2 for 65%

Assuming $300/bet on each play, I'm up $957 - $385 paid for picks = +$572

Auspicious start.
Savannah +27 Loss
Montreal -115 Loss

11-8-2
+$298 - $412 paid for picks. Net -114.
Much more like this and I'll have to dump him go exclusively with all the solid free picks that are here on SBR. Lots of good cappers with established track records. For now I'll stick with it and see how it goes.
Again, anyone else using this service or others like it (where they actually post plays after the game starts), please contribute your experiences here.

NHL: Toronto/Buffalo over 5. Start of the third period and it's already 4-2, so this is a winner. Total will be 12-8-2 since 12/4.

I didn't play this, however. I'm seriously reconsidering continuing to spend $$ on these picks. Betting $300/game just isn't gonna cut it based on paying 27.50/win, assuming he sticks around the 60-62% range. I would have to be around $500/bet to make it work, and that's just too much exposure for my bankroll right now. As I said above, too many solid cappers between 55-60% for free right here. I'll keep posting his plays for a little while to see if anyone else responds.

CBB: Tulsa +3 L
CBB: Kansas -13.5 L

Overall 17-12-2

Once again, I'm just tracking him now, not buying/playing. Trying to keep them honest and see if anyone else knows if this system of pay for picks is legit.
